Fargo Region Update - September 9, 2026
This month, I want to thank God for our Grand Opening Celebration on August 27th. Over 100 people joined us. Volunteers, neighbors, our co-CEOs, Steve and Ginna Cross, and even our city commissioner Michelle Turnberg came out to celebrate with us. What a grand time it was!
And here's the incredible part: it was exactly one year and one day prior that I first met Ginna to gauge the interest for a clinic here. One year. And there we stood celebrating a Grand Opening. I’m in complete awe of what God did.
Looking ahead, I keep thinking of 2 Corinthians 3:12. "Since we have such a hope, we are very bold."
That's it, right there. We're not bold because we're confident in ourselves or because we have it all together. We're bold because we know the sure hope God gives us in Christ. He never fails!
We’re bold because we know that the gospel of Hope can actually transform a person's life. We’re bold because every single life matters. And so, we can boldly step into hard conversations, seemingly hopeless situations, and small, unglamorous moments trusting God to meet us the same way He met us as we stepped out to start this clinic.
We can make bold moves, because we have SUCH a hope in Christ. He is our sure Hope. Might this truth embolden each one of you as you serve and share the hope of Christ with others.
Because of that, I want to ask you to pray with me about two things this month.
First, pray for community awareness. I want more people in Fargo to know we're here through word of mouth, through other organizations, through school nurses and counselors, through outreach at local colleges. I'm trusting God to bring the women who need us right through our doors. He has already been doing that this past week!
Second, please pray for a nurse practitioner for our team. God has been so faithful to bring the right person at the right time every step of the way, and I'm trusting him to do it again. Someone who loves our patients, has the wisdom to help them physically, and has the grace to share the gospel of Hope with them.
