La Crosse Region Update - September 9, 2026

August was filled with life. Five Alliance babies were born this month, and what a joy it has been to celebrate alongside their mothers. We got to walk closely with these women at one of the most critical moments of their lives, and now we get to watch them step into motherhood.

But it doesn't stop there. Each of these babies is the start of a family line that keeps going. A child who will grow up, go to school, maybe have children of their own someday. We thank God for the gift of these five lives, and for everything they'll go on to become.

We're also walking alongside four couples and two moms who have been faithfully showing up to parenting classes. This is part of what wraparound care looks like at Alliance. It’s not enough to walk with a family through a decision. It’s important to stay with them as they prepare to parent well. It's an honor to sit with these families and watch them grow into this next season.

I'd love for you to join me in praying for two things this month.

First, two of our moms who were determined to have an abortion are still carrying their babies and have kept coming back for follow-up appointments. They haven't chosen life yet, but they are still carrying, still in contact with our staff, still coming back. That matters. Please pray for these mothers who have seen their living, preborn babies with their own eyes. Pray that their hearts would be stirred toward choosing life for their little ones.

Second, please pray for our staff over the next few weeks as we take part in several back-to-school events for college students across the La Crosse area. Pray that these events bring even more women through our doors.
