Lake Michigan Region Update – August 12, 2026

There's a scripture that I love that shows the heart of God.  It is Jeremiah 1:5: "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you." I thought of that verse again a few weeks ago when a mom walked back into our Racine Clinic, not for an appointment this time, but to say thank you.

She told us that if it hadn't been for Alliance, her son would not be here. Then she just talked about him. About being his mom. About how much she loves that baby. She has given us permission to share her picture, and honestly, it's the kind of picture that says more than I could in a whole newsletter.

That's why we do this work!  When we minister to a mom and a baby is saved, generations are impacted.  We emphasize to our clients that we're here for the long haul, and that mother standing in our lobby, thanking us for her son, is exactly what that looks like lived out.

I also want to share something new we're doing here in the Lake Michigan region, because I believe it's going to change lives. We now have an opportunity for churches to partner with us through a ministry called Embrace Grace.

Here's how it works: when a woman we serve comes to the Lord, or simply opens her heart to spiritual things, we connect her with a local Embrace Grace group. That group becomes her community. They walk her through a Bible study, throw her a baby shower, and love on her.  This is discipleship in action, and we need the body of Christ to partner with us to help us root and ground these women in the truth of God’s Word.

Body, soul, and spirit. That's how we're called to care for these women and Embrace Grace lets our church partners step into the soul and spirit part alongside us. Please remember, when one woman is reached, it doesn't stop with her. It reaches generations. That mother in Racine and her son is proof of this truth! As you stand shoulder to shoulder with us, you play a vital part in rescuing and shaping the next generation for God’s Kingdom.
