Nashville Region Update - September 9, 2026

August was one of those months where I kept looking at the numbers and thinking, are we sure this is right? We served 46 clients, tying July for our busiest month ever in Franklin. Two months in a row. We might need a bigger waiting room!

But here's the story that stuck with me. We had a client who was leaning toward abortion. She told us she'd call to schedule a follow-up ultrasound, and when the call never came, we figured we knew how that story ended. Then, completely out of nowhere, she called and asked to come in that same day. She got on the table, saw her baby on the screen, and told our nurse that even though she was scared, she wanted to choose life.

She's seeing an OB now, and she knows our doors are open to her for as long as she needs us. I don't know how you read that story and not feel like something bigger than us is at work here. A phone call that never came, and then one that did, right when it mattered.

We've also got some good news on the "we're not just here for the appointment" front. This month we launched case management here in Franklin. That means when a client needs help with a budget, a job search, or finding childcare, we can walk with her through that. This is what wraparound care is supposed to look like. We don't make the case for life and then disappear the second she says yes. We stick around for the rest of the journey.

Between the client who chose life, a brand new service, and our busiest August on record, I've got a lot to be thankful for this month, and a lot to ask you to pray about with me.

First, and most importantly, pray for our client. Pray her heart stays settled in this decision and that she finds real joy as this pregnancy moves forward. Pray for her as she steps into motherhood.

Second, pray that September brings us even more women walking through that door. We want to stay busy. Honestly, we want to get busier.
